Diversified Technique
Our physicians use a widely practiced chiropractic adjusting method known as Diversified Technique. It begins by assessing how your spine moves through a process called motion palpation, feeling each joint as you bend and turn. When a restricted segment is identified, a specific manual thrust is applied—its direction, speed, depth, and angle based on years of training and a detailed understanding of spinal mechanics.

The adjustment may create a brief “popping” sound, which reflects gas shifting within the joint. Some spinal issues improve quickly with restored motion to a “stuck” joint, but other cases of back pain require more care. Research supports that spinal manipulation can provide strong reflex-driven pain relief and improve blood flow to the discs, joints, and surrounding nerve tissues—key factors in reducing symptoms and supporting healing.
Diversified spinal adjustments are safe, controlled, and delivered only when clinically appropriate, with careful screening to ensure each treatment supports patient health.
